Australia Diplomat / Official  VISA REQUIREMENTS:

1. Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, with at least one blank visa page available for the Australian visa stamp. Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Australian visa stamps.
2. Filled out offline PDF application. One Australian visa application form per applicant completed, printed and signed. Signature must be original on each Australian visa application. Improperly completed application forms may delay the processing of your Australia visa.
3. Other Forms: Diplomatic note from the US State Department providing: confirmation that employee has been assigned to take up duties at the foreign mission in Australia; and job title, proposed duties, proposed period of posting; and Person being replaced at the foreign mission in Australia. List of any accompanying dependents. Please note that there are limits as to whom may be accepted as members of the family or staff posted to the foreign missions in Australia, and restrictions apply for children once they have reached 21 years of age. Unless very special circumstances exist, a child who is 21 years old but not more than 25 years is accepted as a member of the family only if they are undertaking full-time full-fee overseas student studies at an Australian tertiary institution in the city where the officer is posted, and provided that they remain part of the officer's household.
4. Complete the online application. You must include a copy of this form with all other supporting documents. (NOTE: Consular fees are NON-refundable. If visa is rejected and resubmitted new consular fees will apply).
